Presenting the 2007 donation to the University of Washington’s rheumatology department

It is with great pleasure that as the year comes to a close that the Leap for Lupus Foundation can gift the University of Washington’s Rheumatology Department a check in the sum of $13,103.02. It is especially joyous for us to realize that 100 percent of our gift will go directly to Lupus research. Many people helped in raising these funds and most of these individuals jumped from perfectly good airplanes numerous times in order to contribute. We are looking forward to the 2008 skydiving season in order to have another opportunity to leap for Lupus research and, with the help of some Pacific Northwest sunshine, we will not only break a skydiving record but we will also break a record in raising funds, all to benefit the University of Washington’s Rheumatology Department and the search for a cure for Lupus.
